Amanda assists couples to conceive naturally using both acupuncture and Chinese herbs. Because she feels that lifestyle and diet have an important role in conception and pregnancy, she offers individualised advice and treatments that are based on the unique requirements of each patient.
Amanda has worked with many patients already attending an IVF clinic.
Located in Dublin, she has works closely with the protocols used in the Rotunda fertility clinic and Holles Street fertility clinic.
Using acupuncture, she finds that her patients have an increased rate of experiencing successful and healthy pregnancies for the following types of fertility treatments:

Amanda advises regular treatments of acupuncture for the first trimester (first 12 weeks of pregnancy) as it reduces anxiety and can control morning sickness.
Research has shown that for women with a history of recurrent miscarriage, regular monitoring and stress reduction treatment in the first 12 weeks increased live birth rates. 86% of women in the treatment group, compared to 33% for women that did not receive treatment.
